It is action that creates motivation

How I hoped it would be

I hoped building a business would mean more freedom — not just for me, but for the people I serve. I imagined systems that made life easier, teams that felt aligned, and owners who could finally step out of the weeds and back into their zone of genius.

I hoped I could take what I’d learned — from 15+ years in operations, HR, finance, and marketing — and turn it into something meaningful. Something that helped small business owners breathe again. I didn’t want to just organize spreadsheets or manage tasks; I wanted to bring clarity where there was chaos, structure where there was stress, and calm where there was constant fire-fighting.

I hoped I could build a company — Magna Source Solutions — that wasn’t about flashy results but about real transformation. The kind that sticks. The kind that frees up time, energy, and headspace.

And I hoped that along the way, I could be more than just a consultant. I could be a partner, a thought leader, a trusted advisor. Someone who understands the pressure because I’ve lived it — as a founder, a military spouse, a mom, and a project manager navigating tight timelines and tighter margins.

What I hoped for was a business that felt like integrity. What I built is even better.

Family always comes first

In every season of my life — from climbing the corporate ladder to launching my own business — one truth has stayed constant: family always comes first.

It’s not just a motto. It’s how I make decisions, how I manage my time, and how I lead. As a military spouse and mom, I’ve learned how to build around unpredictability, how to find calm in the chaos, and how to show up fully — at home and in my work — without sacrificing one for the other.

That’s why the businesses I support don’t just get strategy — they get someone who understands what’s really on the line. I know what it means to juggle nap schedules and deployment schedules while still showing up to lead a team or roll out a new system. I know the pressure of holding everything together, and the power of finally having the right support.

So yes, I help streamline operations. I build better workflows. I bring clarity and order to small businesses ready to scale. But I do it all with one guiding principle: your business should serve your life — not the other way around.

Because when family comes first, everything else falls into place.

Waiting for success

For a long time, I thought success was something I had to chase — that if I worked harder, planned better, or added just one more certification, it would finally show up. So I waited. I stayed busy. I checked every box. And still, something felt…missing.

I’ve since learned that success doesn’t come just because we wait. It comes when we build. When we stop looking for a perfect moment and start creating the conditions for growth — even in uncertainty. Especially in uncertainty.

In my journey — as a founder, a military spouse, a project manager, and a mom — I’ve discovered that success isn’t a finish line. It’s showing up with integrity, doing the hard things with heart, and creating systems that allow you to breathe, lead, and live well.

I was never really waiting for success. I was becoming someone who could carry it — sustainably, confidently, and on my own terms.
